Meridian Public School District is proud to announce the hiring of John Douglass as the new head football coach of the Meridian High School Wildcats. Coach Douglass is a 1987 graduate of Meridian High School and brings more than 10 years of head coaching and over 20 years of educational experience to Meridian High School. As the son of a naval fighter pilot, Douglass spent his formative years moving to and from military bases around the country. His family settled in Meridian when his father retired from military service while being stationed at Naval Air Station Meridian. So, we ask that you help us in encouraging them to keep reading, thinking, and growing by participating in the summer reading challenge!
