Five MHS students recently found out they were recognized for the artwork they submitted in the 2025 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

On February 11, 2025, the Mississippi Association of Coaches (MAC) and the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA), in partnership with the University of Mississippi’s School of Education, announced the 25 Coaches who were selected for participation in Mississippi’s 2024-25 “Tomorrow’s 25” class.
Congratulations to MPSD's Brittany Roberts and Terrance Steele, Sr., on being named to this year's class of "TOMORROW'S 25".

Meridian High School celebrated Senior Night on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, honoring the dedication and hard work of its senior soccer players in a matchup against Quitman.

Today was a special day for three MHS football players as each of them signed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the next level.

On January 31, 2025, eighteen talented students from Northwest Middle School were selected to participate in THEE Jackson State University Honor Band after a rigorous audition.

Any Given Child
Arts Integrated City
The city of Meridian was selected in August of 2016 by the Kennedy Center for a multi-year, Pre-K-8 arts integration program called Any Given Child.
