Tomorrow's 25 Logo

On February 11, 2025, the Mississippi Association of Coaches (MAC) and the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA), in partnership with the University of Mississippi’s School of Education, announced the 25 Coaches who were selected for participation in Mississippi’s 2024-25 “Tomorrow’s 25” class.

Congratulations to MPSD's Brittany Roberts and Terrance Steele, Sr., on being named to this year's class of "TOMORROW'S 25".

Successful District

The Meridian Public School District received a Successful Rating by the Mississippi Department for the second consecutive year on the MAAP Assessments.

The Meridian Public School District is made up of 11 campuses, which include 5 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 high school, 1 career and technical center, 1 Pre-K campus, and 1 alternative learning campus.

ACT Workkeys

The number of 2024 Meridian High School seniors who scored a Gold, Silver, or Platinum on the ACT Workkeys when tested at Ross Collins Career and Technical Center.

All students in the Meridian Public School District are provided with an iPad or a Chromebook to use in the classroom.

Any Given Child

Arts Integrated City

The city of Meridian was selected in August of 2016 by the Kennedy Center for a multi-year, Pre-K-8 arts integration program called Any Given Child.

The Meridian Public School District has over 700 student-athletes that compete in extra-curriculuar activities.
