  • Most students need financial aid to help pay for college. By completing the FAFSA®, you might qualify for thousands of dollars in federal grants, work-study, low-cost loans, and state and college scholarships. There's no other way to gain access to this money.

    We encourage you to complete the FAFSA and earn a chance at a $1,000 scholarship.

    Completing the FAFSA is an urgent and important step—not just for accessing financial aid, but for staying on track to enroll in college. Research shows that 90% of students who complete the FAFSA enroll immediately in college—versus only 55% of students who don't file.

    Between October and February, the College Board will award $800,000 to seniors who complete the FAFSA.
    •

    Visit getfafsahelp.org for instructions on how to sign up for Wyatt℠, a free FAFSA assistance chatbot that answers your questions by text. When you sign up for Wyatt and text your financial aid questions, Wyatt sends answers via text, a familiar medium that doesn't require internet access. Wyatt is available 24/7.
