MPSD Board approves partnership with Maverick Health to make no cost COVID-19 Test available
On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, the MPSD Board of Trustees approved an agreement with Maverick Health to make COVID-19 testing available to MPSD staff and students at no cost. Testing will be available at different MPSD sites daily.
“Our partnership with Maverick Health provides our staff, students, and their families with another location should the need arise for them to be tested for COVID-19,” said LaVonda Germany, MPSD Director of PBIS and Student Supports. “By making COVID-19 testing available to our community, we continue to work towards providing safe and orderly schools for our students and staff.”
Testing is available at the following sites; Monday, January 24- Friday, 28, 2022.
- Monday (1/24): MHS
- Tuesday (1/25): Northwest (Auditorium)
- Wednesday (1/26): Carver (Nurse's Station)
- Thursday (1/27): Magnolia (Gym)
- Friday (1/28): MHS
Please note that locations may change. Check the MPSD website for the most current location dates.
MPSD staff may be tested from 7 a.m.-8:30 a.m. and from 3:30 p.m.-5 p.m. at the MHS Band Practice Field. Staff need to complete this form.
Sites are open for students testing from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. daily at the designated daily school site.
Parents are required to fill out a permission form before their student can be tested at one of the MPSD School-Based COVID-19 testing locations. The required forms are located at www.mpsdk12.net. Parents or guardians are required to be present when tests are administered to elementary students.
