Health Education
Description: This course includes instruction in multimedia first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and human sexuality. Red Cross certification cards will be issued to all students who pass multimedia first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This course is required for tenth-grade students.Credit Unit: 1/2

Physical Education
Description: This course is open to any 10th, 11th, or 12th-grade student and provides students with directed physical activities, including sports, team sports, recreational activities and physical fitness. Students are expected to participate and dress out in suitable attire. This course is open to any student enrolled at MHS. This course is required for one semester and is an elective. The course can be taken more than the required one semester.Credit Unit: 1/2

PE (Aerobics)
Description: Aerobics is a course open to any 10th, 11th, or 12th-grade student. It stresses the "Fitness For Life" approach to physical education, in that all activities could be maintained throughout life at varying degrees. Students participate in low-impact aerobics, walking programs, and weight training, with a strong emphasis on nutrition as it relates to fitness.Credit Unit: 1/2

PE (Team Sports)
