  • LET-1
    Description: This course is required for students entering the Leadership Education and Training Program for the first time. It serves as an introduction to the overall program content. It is offered to students in grades 9 - 10. Students in grades 11 - 12 must have special permission from the senior Army instructor to enroll in LET-1.

    Credit Unit: 1 (*Grade 9 - 2 semesters; 1 unit credit)
    Prerequisite: None
    Length of Class: 2 semesters

    LET-2
    Description: This is an intermediate level course in leadership education and training where students further develop skills and knowledge acquired in LET-1. It is offered to grades 10-12.

    Credit Unit: 1
    Prerequisite: Successful completion of LET-1
    Length of Class: 2 semesters

    LET-3
    Description: This is an advanced level course where students further develop skills and knowledge and begin practical application of advanced principles of leadership and citizenship. It is offered to grades 11-12.

    Credit Unit: 1
    Prerequisite: Successful completion of LET-1 and LET-2
    Length of Class: 2 semesters

    LET-4
    Description: This course is offered to students who entered the program in the 9th grade. It provides for practical application and decision-making opportunities associated with all previously taught principles of leadership and citizenship. The student, under the supervision of department instructors, will teach classes to lower level students, plan JROTC activities and events, and research problem-solving situations.
