Meridian High School is in the unique position of being the only public high school in the city of Meridian, Mississippi, an urban community of approximately 44,000. The city serves as a regional trade center for eight rural communities in east Mississippi and west Alabama. We are the home of the WILDCATS and our school colors are royal blue and white.

The Meridian High School A-Team Science Club is looking to honor those who have lost their lives to COVID-19. The club is sponsoring a COVID-19 Memorial Fundraiser in which you can purchase flags that will be displayed on the lawn at Meridian High School.
Meridian High School Senior BiJen Patel was recently named the STAR Student for the 2020-2021 school year by the Mississippi Economic Council (MEC) M. B. Swayze Foundation, sponsor of the Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program.
The Allie Carruth Senior Scholarship will be awarded to a Meridian City School District or a Lauderdale County School District senior who plans to pursue his or her education at a 2 or 4-year college/university in the 2021-2022 academic year.
