Assessment

Welcome to the Assessment Department of the Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, where we are dedicated to fostering educational excellence through rigorous evaluation. 

Our department coordinates and administers assessments that align closely with national and state standards, ensuring fair and accurate evaluation of student progress and instructional effectiveness. We meticulously collect, analyze, and interpret student data to provide educators and administrators with actionable insights that drive targeted interventions and support academic growth.

Additionally, we oversee progress within the state’s accountability model, ensuring transparency and providing strategies to improve each component, such as graduation rate, through students’ life and learning goals. Through our commitment to accuracy, fairness, and innovation, we empower stakeholders with the tools and information needed to enhance teaching and learning practices, improve student achievement, and foster a culture of continuous improvement in education.
