Communications

The Meridian Public School District Director of Public Relations works with the Superintendent, administrators, staff, community, and media to provide accurate, up-to-date information as well as highlight the successes of our district and schools. Media relations, crisis communications, photos, newsletters, events, communication policy, recognitions, social media management, and image management are all part of the Communication Department.

MPSD uses a variety of methods to communicate general, day-to-day news as well as emergency alerts (such as weather-related school closures). Be sure to follow the Meridian Public School District on Facebook, Instagram (@mpsdwildcats), and Twitter (@MPSD_Wildcats). 

The True Blue Update is Meridian Public School District's newsletter released every  other week during the school year.
