MPSD Media Guidelines

While we recognize and understand the valuable responsibility of the media and news corporations to provide accurate and timely information to the community concerning issues and events pertaining to the Meridian Public School District, the district has a strong obligation to protect the privacy of students and employees.

In order to help facilitate all media requests, we ask that you continue to follow MPSD policy in doing so (Policy KBB).

All media requests, news stories, coverage and interviews must be coordinated through the Communications Office. In order to do so, you can contact MPSD’s Public Relations Director Matt Davis by calling 601-934-0617 or through email at mtdavis@mpsdk12.net.

All interviews with administrators, teachers, coaches, other personnel or students must be scheduled through the Communications Office.
