When selecting a college choose one that best fits your academic and personal interests.  This is a major decision so make time to visit several colleges before making your final choice.  Think of the following when making your decision:

  • Academic interests – major, minor
  • Learning styles – class size and style of instruction
  • Academic rigor – difficulty or less pressure
  • Social opportunities – clubs, organizations, fraternity, and sorority
  • Athletics
  • Community
  • Public/Private College
  • Cost – tuition, fees, room and board
