The Meridian Public School District Central Operations plays a vital role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of the district’s educational environment.

The Central Operations team is made up of a diverse team that includes 4 administrative and support staff, 10 maintenance technicians, 22 district custodians, and 24 HES custodians.

Central Operations is responsible for the upkeep of over 400 classrooms and support offices, 700 HVAC units, and 155 restrooms across 1 million square feet of facilities spread over 160 acres.

With a campus average age of 67 years, the department works diligently to preserve and improve aging infrastructure while ensuring that students, staff, and visitors experience a well-maintained and welcoming learning environment every day.
