Federal Programs
INTRODUCTION
The Office of Federal Programs provides leadership and technical assistance through the responsible and effective use of federal program dollars to support quality education for every child in the Meridian Public School District. Through a consolidated approach to planning and operation, we support federal, state, and district initiatives and needs. Revenue sources include Title I, Title II, Title IV, and Title V.
Please see categories and Related Documents for additional information regarding Title I programs.
The Office of Federal Programs will soon begin planning for the upcoming school term. As our district and individual schools embark on this journey, we realize that it is important to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment that reflects input from parents, students, community members, and educators. You will be invited to participate in this process by completing the Meridian Public School District’s Federal Programs Survey. Responses will be anonymous unless you choose to provide contact information. As stakeholders in the educational process, your perspectives will be invaluable to individual schools and the Office of Federal Programs as we strive to provide quality learning opportunities for our students. If you have questions regarding this survey or the Office of Federal Programs, please feel free to contact our office at 601-484-4960.
