Student Services and Counseling

Student Services is committed to providing support to students and their families and invite you to visit our website for more information. The department supports all students by addressing barriers to learning and enhancing healthy development. We are committed to ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to be effective, responsible, and productive citizens.

Services that fall under the umbrella of Students Services include technology implementation, counseling services, interscholastic activities, student rights and due process, student discrimination, expulsion and pre-expulsion, expulsion hearings and procedures, alternative school settings, sites, and placement.

The Student Service department is also responsible for enrollment procedures, attendance policies, interdistrict and intradistrict transfers, open enrollment process, residency verification, the custody of student records and all federal and state procedural safeguards attached to student records and/or data.
