On Friday, September 11, 2026, Magnolia Middle School celebrated an exciting milestone as students were officially inducted into the Student Lighthouse Team during a special ceremony.

The Meridian Public School District is bringing students, families, staff and community partners together for an exciting evening of fun, fellowship and Wildcat pride at Family Night at The Ray! The event will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ray Stadium.

The Meridian Public School District kicked off the fall athletic season with Fall Meet the Wildcats on Thursday, August 20, 2026, in the gymnasium at Meridian High School.

A new chapter in Meridian High School football begins this fall as the Wildcats take the field under first-year Head Coach Tony Vance.

Meridian Public Schools is pleased to announce that the district will continue participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2026-2027 school year. Through CEP, all students will continue to receive breakfast and lunch at no cost during the school year.
