Parkview Elementary teacher receives Grant

Parkview Elementary Music Teacher Dr. Barbara Sanders has been awarded a $4,028 grant from the Margaret Dulaney Art Endowment, administered by the Community Foundation of East Mississippi, in support of her project 'Hear It, Play It, Become It: Building Musicians Through Movement, Melody, Rhythm, and Meaning.'

MERIDIAN, MS — The Meridian Public School District Foundation for Educational Excellence was selected as the REACH Award recipient for Lauderdale County by the Children’s Foundation of Mississippi.

The Foundation was nominated by a member of the community and selected in recognition of its efforts to make a meaningful difference for children and families across Lauderdale County. The REACH Award highlighted organizations whose work created measurable impact and strengthened opportunities for youth.

MHS 7A Track Meet 2026

The Meridian High School Track and Field Team delivered an impressive performance on the state stage, showcasing speed, strength, and determination at the MHSAA 7A State Meet.
