Welcome to Meridian High School - Home of the Wildcats!

Meridian High School is in the unique position of being the only public high school in the city of Meridian, Mississippi, an urban community of approximately 44,000.  The city serves as a regional trade center for eight rural communities in east Mississippi and west Alabama.  We are the home of the WILDCATS and our school colors are royal blue and white.

MERIDIAN, MS — Students from the Meridian High School Choir recently traveled to New York City, New York, for a remarkable arts education experience that included performing at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall. During the trip, students had the opportunity to sing on one of the most prestigious concert stages in the world while sharing the stage with renowned conductors and concert artists.

More than 160 seniors from Meridian High School proudly made their post-graduation plans known during the school’s annual College Signing Day celebration held Friday, May 8. The exciting event highlighted the many paths members of the Class of 2026 will take after graduation, showcasing the determination and accomplishments of Meridian’s future leaders.
