Ross Collins Career and Technical Center

Ross Collins Career and Technical Center is the oldest and largest vocational center in Mississippi.  The center opened its doors in November 1942 and is celebrating over 70 years of service to the community.

The school serves students of the Meridian Public School District, Lauderdale County School District, Home Schoolers Association, and local private schools. Ross Collins Career and Technical Center enjoys a rich history but is not tied to the past.

Ross Collins is a career and technical education center located on the campus of Meridian High School. Career and technical education prepares students for jobs from entry-level to the most advanced.

At Ross Collins, students can explore career options, gain insight into fields of employment, prepare for a wide range of occupations, and upgrade knowledge as work requirements change. Every vocational program follows a standardized, state-wide curriculum. Several of the classes at Ross Collins are college preparatory classes.
