Jump Into Summer With FREE Summer Meals!

Families in the Meridian Public School District will once again have access to free summer meals for children through the Summer Food Service Program, running June 1 through July 24, 2026. This year, families can choose between traditional site-based meals or a new weekly meal box option.
Two Meal Options Available
Site-Based Meals

Children ages 18 and under may enjoy free breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday at designated meal sites. Meals must be eaten on-site.
Meridian High School
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Lunch: 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Poplar Springs Elementary
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
 

New for 2026: 7-Day Meal Boxes
Families also have the option to register for weekly meal boxes containing shelf-stable breakfast and lunch items for seven days.

Meal boxes are:
Available for children ages 18 and under
Picked up once weekly at a designated site
Intended to provide meals for seven days
Available only to families who preregister by May 27, 2026
 

Pick-Up Locations
Harris-Upper School | 3951 12th Street, Meridian, MS | Mondays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Multi-County | 2900 St. Paul Street, Meridian, MS | Mondays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
*Students enrolled in summer school or other district enrichment programs are not eligible to receive meal boxes during the same period.
 

Important Program Information
Program Dates: June 1 through July 24, 2026
Meals will not be served at sites on June 19 or July 3, 2026.
