Boston Hodges named Valedictorian, Jaden Mosley named Salutatorian at MHS Honors Program

2026 MHS Senior Honors

Meridian High School celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2026 during its Senior Honors Recognition Program held today in the school gymnasium. The special ceremony recognized graduating seniors for their outstanding academic accomplishments and dedication throughout their high school careers.

Students were honored for earning distinctions as Honor Graduates, High Honor Graduates, and Highest Honor Graduates, recognizing years of hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in the classroom.

During the program, Meridian High School also announced the Top 10 Students for the Class of 2026, highlighting the students who achieved the highest academic rankings among their classmates. The ceremony culminated with the announcement of the class Salutatorian and Valedictorian, two students whose leadership and academic success have left a lasting mark on the school community.

Boston Hodges was named the Valedictorian of the MHS Class of 2026. After graduation, Hodges will attend Alabama A&M on a full scholarship and major in Computer Science with a concentration is Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence. Boston Hodges was the recipient of the Father Cosgrove Scholarship from Saint Joseph Catholic Church. The scholarship amount is $10,000 and was awarded at the conclusion of the program today.

Salutatorian - Jaden Mosley

Jaden Mosley was named the Salutatorian of the MHS Class of 2026. After graduation, Mosley will attend Duke University on a full scholarship and major in Psychology.

Family members, faculty, staff, and fellow students gathered to celebrate the seniors and their accomplishments as they prepare to take the next steps in their educational and professional journeys.

The Class of 2026 will officially graduate on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Ray Stadium as the students close one chapter and prepare to open the next.

The Senior Honors Recognition Program served as a reminder of the talent, determination, and bright future represented by the Meridian High School Class of 2026.
