MHS Choirs takes home second place at Music in the Parks in St. Louis
The Meridian High School Choir traveled to St. Louis, Missouri on April 4, 2025, to participate in a national competition hosted by Music in the Parks. Competing against 12 outstanding choirs from across the country, our talented students proudly brought home second place!
The choir earned a Superior Ratings from both judges with an outstanding overall score of 93.5, showcasing their exceptional musicality, dedication, and teamwork.
“I am beyond proud of the Meridian High School Choir,” said Alanna Burns, MHS Choirs Director. “Their unwavering dedication, countless hours of hard work, and love for music shone brightly as they earned 2nd place at the Music in the Parks Festival. More than the award, it’s their unity, resilience, and passion that move me every day. It is a true honor to walk this journey with them as their director.”
