All MPSD Schools to participate in Mandatory Drills August 27-September 5, 2025 

The safety and security of our students and staff remain our top priority at Meridian Public School District. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe learning environment, all campuses will be conducting mandatory intruder drills over the next couple of weeks.

Dates: August 27-September 5, 2025 

Schools Involved: All Meridian Public Schools

Time: During regular school hours

These drills are required by state law and help ensure that students and staff are prepared to respond quickly and appropriately in the event of an emergency.

What Parents Should Know:

• Students will practice safe procedures with guidance from teachers and administrators.
• Law enforcement and school safety officers will be on site to assist.
• Drills will be conducted in a calm and age-appropriate manner.
• Please reassure your child that these drills are designed to keep everyone safe, just like fire or tornado drills.
