Holiday Happenings in MPSD

2025 MPSD Holiday Events

The Meridian Public School District is celebrating the season with a full lineup of festive events as students, staff, and families come together for performances, showcases, and holiday traditions across the district. From theater productions and choral concerts to art exhibits and community celebrations, December is filled with opportunities to enjoy the talents of our Wildcats.

The holiday schedule begins December 3–4 with the Meridian High School Theater performance of “A Carefully Calculated Murder.” Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students with ID. Performances take place at 7 p.m. each night.

On December 9, MHS Visual Art and the MHS National Arts Honor Society will host their annual Empty Bowls event beginning at 5 p.m. in the MHS Cafeteria. That same evening, the MHS Choir will present Holiday Harmonies at 6:30 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium.

Northwest Middle School will showcase its arts programs on December 15 at 5:45 p.m., followed by the Magnolia Middle School Band and Choir performance on December 16 at 5:30 p.m.

Elementary schools will join in the seasonal celebrations on December 18. Poplar Springs Elementary will host The Giving Feast, Crestwood Elementary will present its Christmas Concert, Carver Elementary will perform Christmas Around the World at 1 p.m., and West Hills Elementary will hold its Christmas Program, also at 1 p.m.

The district’s holiday events conclude on December 19 with Parkview Elementary’s Christmas Carols around Meridian.

MPSD invites families and community members to attend and support our students during these special events. For additional details, please contact the individual schools or Dr. Antonio Altman, District Arts Director.
