MERIDIAN, MS — The Meridian Public School District will host its 2026 Parent University on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The MAX, the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience. The event is designed to equip families with valuable tools, information, and community connections that support student success.

Parent University will feature financial literacy workshops, important school information sessions, access to parent resources, and opportunities to connect with community partners. The event provides a welcoming space for families to learn, ask questions, and discover new ways to support their children both academically and personally.

Adrian Cross-Phillips, MPSD Parent and Community Engagement Specialist, emphasized the importance of family involvement in education.

“Parent University is about empowering families with knowledge and resources that make a real difference,” said Cross-Phillips. “When parents and schools work together, students thrive. This event creates an opportunity for meaningful engagement, practical learning, and stronger partnerships that benefit our entire district.”

MPSD extends sincere appreciation to The MAX for its partnership and for hosting this year’s event. Their continued support helps create meaningful experiences that bring families, schools, and the community together.

The district encourages all MPSD families to attend and take advantage of this evening dedicated to learning and connection.
