The Meridian Public School District is excited to announce that two veteran educators have been named principals at Northwest Middle School. Marsha Nathan and Tonya Mason will join the leadership team for the 2025-2026 school year.
Ms. Marsha Nathan joins MPSD as a new Assistant Principal at Northwest. She brings years of experience in English Language Arts instruction, teacher coaching, and is known for her dedication to literacy and empowering both students and educators. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Wildcat family!
Ms. Tonya Mason has been promoted from Academic Coach to Assistant Principal at Northwest. A dedicated career educator since 2009, Ms. Mason has served students across ELA, mathematics, and special education. Her deep understanding of curriculum and commitment to student success make her a powerful asset to the leadership team.
