The MPSD Board of Trustees met for a special-called meeting on Wednesday October 8, 2025. Here are a few updates from the meeting:
Small changes to 2025-2026 MPSD Academic Calendar that does not affect students days and only affects teacher work days. The changes are:
- October 13-14, 2025: Fall Break - All schools and offices closed.
- October 15, 2025: Parent Teacher Conference Day from 2 p.m.-6 p.m. at all MPSD Campuses
- April 3 & 6, 2026: Easter Break - All schools and offices closed.
- May 29, 2026: Last Day for Teachers
The Board approved the construction contract with Flagstar Construction for Bond Renovation work at Parkview Elementary.

During the Superintendent’s Report Gary Bailey of Dale/Bailey Architects updated the board on the overall progress of Bond Work taking place throughout the district.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the MPSD Board of Trustees will take place on Monday, October 20, 2025, on the second floor of the MHS Multipurpose Building, on the campus of Meridian High School.
