Meridian High School is in the unique position of being the only public high school in the city of Meridian, Mississippi, an urban community of approximately 44,000. The city serves as a regional trade center for eight rural communities in east Mississippi and west Alabama. We are the home of the WILDCATS and our school colors are royal blue and white.

GEAR UP MS and MHS are excited to partner with Get2College to host another DRIVE-THRU FAFSA Day where you can get your financial aid applications taken care of in the safety and comfort of your own car. The Drive-Thru event will be held April 14, 2021, from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.
The A-Team Science Club is sponsoring a COVID-19 Memorial Fundraiser. The club will set up a display on campus with marker flags in memory of those who lost their lives to COVID.
Meridian High School Senior BiJen Patel was recently named the STAR Student for the 2020-2021 school year by the Mississippi Economic Council (MEC) M. B. Swayze Foundation, sponsor of the Student-Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program.
The Allie Carruth Senior Scholarship will be awarded to a Meridian City School District or a Lauderdale County School District senior who plans to pursue his or her education at a 2 or 4-year college/university in the 2021-2022 academic year.
