  • Parkview students celebrate Black History Month

    Students at Parkview Elementary performed “Standing On A Solid Foundation” in honor of Black History Month 2021 on Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Velma Young Center. Students from the school read poems, sang, and danced to commemorate influential African Americans.

  • Gear Up to host Drive-Thru FAFSA Event on Feb. 24 for MHS Seniors

    GEAR UP MS and Meridian High School are excited to partner with Get2College and Meridian Community College to host a DRIVE-THRU FAFSA Day where you can get your financial aid applications taken care of in the safety and comfort of your own car. The Drive-Thru event will be held on February 24, 2021, from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. Participants will leave the appointment with the creation of STUDENT and PARENT FSA ID, FAFSA completion, and MAAPP completion. We will also be providing FREE boxed meals!
