Author, MHS Alum visits TJ Harris Upper Elementary
Fifth-grade students at T.J. Harris Upper Elementary School received a free copy of "J.D. and the Great Barber Battle," written by critically acclaimed Children's Book Author and Meridian native J. Dillard. Dillard visited the school Monday, December 12, 2022. "J.D. and the Greater Barber Battle” is the first title in his multi-award-winning children's book series, "J.D. the Kid Barber.” Dillard is a member of Meridian High School's Class of 1994.

JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi State Board of Education (SBE) is seeking applications from high school sophomores to serve as the new high school junior student representative on the SBE Board for the 2023-24 school year. Application deadline is Jan. 27, 2023.

MPSD to host MAAP Assessment meetings for parents of 2nd and 3rd graders
The Meridian Public School District is excited to host a Parent Meeting for parents of 2nd and 3rd-grade MPSD students. The meetings will take place on December 6 and December 13 at Noon and 5:30 p.m. in the MHS Multipurpose Building on the campus of Meridian High School.
