MPSD announces New Assistant Superintendents for 2023-24 School Year
The Meridian Public School District (MPSD) is excited to announce Dr. Phatasis O’Harroll and Dr. Rosalind Operton as Assistant Superintendents for the 2023-2024 school year. Dr. O’Harroll and Dr. Operton will begin to serve MPSD in their new roles on July 1, 2023. Dr. Charlotte Young, the current assistant superintendent, is retiring on June 30, 2023.

MHS Band named Best Band at Atlanta competition
The Meridian High School Band traveled to Atlanta, Ga. to compete in the Viewers Choice Battle of the Bands held at Six Flags Over Georgia. They received the award for Best Band at the contest that was held this past weekend.
