The Meridian Public School District is hosting a series of educational sessions for parents of third-grade students starting next week.
The meetings will take place via Zoom on the dates of January 19, 20, 21, 24, and 25. Each session covers the same topic so parents will only need to attend one session.
“We thought this would be a great way for our teachers and parents to come together and talk about the importance of the Third Grade Reading Assessment,” said Kimberly Bailey, MPSD Academic Coach.
Some of the topics covered during the session include:
- When the MAAP Assessment takes place
- Test taking strategies
- Pathways to Promotion
- Resources for success
- Retesting Dates
