MPSD honors retired educators at luncheon

MPSD had the chance to honor educators that helped pave the way for today’s educators during the annual Retired Educators Luncheon on Tuesday, November 19, 2019.

The event, which took place at Ross Collins’ Wildcat Cafe, featured the Pledge of Allegiance or Thanksgiving selections by the Ross Collins CDC, Readings by the MHS F.I.S.H. Club and a performance by the MHS Lamplighters. Speaking at the event were MPSD Superintendent Dr. Amy Carter, Lauderdale County School District Superintendent Dr. John-Mark Cain, and Adrian Mosley, President of the East Central Mississippi Retired Educators’ Association. The meal for the event was prepared by the Ross Collins Culinary Arts Students, who are led by Mr. Alan Topcik.

We would like to thank our generous sponsors for helping make the event possible.
