United Way donates hand sanitizer to MPSD

Members of the United Way of East Mississippi stopped by Carver Middle School on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, to deliver some hand sanitizer to the school.

“We are happy to deliver our first load to Carver Middle School today,” said Derron Radcliff, Executive Director of the United Way of East Mississippi.

The hand sanitizer will be put to good use in buildings across the school district.

“I want to thank the United Way for helping us stay safe during this pandemic as we continue to focus on safety in our buildings and classrooms, and just provide what our teachers and students need to stay safe on a daily basis.”,” said Felicia Ruffin, Carver Middle School Principal.

“We greatly appreciate our community partners that are always thinking about our schools,” said Ruffin.
