The Meridian Public School District Office of Parent and Community Engagement is partnering with several local financial institutions to host a series of financial literacy workshops for parents.
Topics of discussion at each workshop will focus on basic budgeting information, savings, the importance of credit, and making good decisions about spending money.
The series of workshops will take place on November 28-30, 2023.

The first workshop will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the Velma Young Community Center located at 2400 24th Street, Meridian, MS, 39301. Special thanks to community partner First MS Federal Credit Union for sponsoring this event.

The second workshop will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at the Meridian Community College Workforce Development Center: Room 171 located at 1524 Hwy. 19 N, Meridian, MS, 39301. Special thanks to community partner Citizens National Bank for sponsoring this event.
