The new addition will add approximately 4300 square feet of classroom space to allow for additional social distancing. The $2.5 million dollar project includes two standard classrooms and one larger room that will be used as a multipurpose room. The new building will connect to the main campus building with an enclosed hallway.

“The multipurpose space addresses a significant need at Crestwood,” said Clay Sims, MPSD Director of Operations. “The space creates an indoor option for student activities such as PE when the weather doesn’t allow outdoor activities.”

The project is slated to be completed in early 2025 and is funded by ESSER. The building was designed by Dale Bailey and J & J Construction will handle construction on the project.
