Nineteen MHS Seniors honored as MS Scholars

Meridian High School Seniors were recognized on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, during the annual MS Scholar/TechMasters Ceremony held on the campus of Meridian Community College.

Mississippi Scholars is designed to recognize students who pursue and meet specific standards in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The Mississippi Scholars Tech Master curriculum is designed to recognize students who pursue and meet specific standards in a tech-prep course of study and reward them for hitting specific benchmarks.

Meridian High School has 20 Mississippi Scholars, of which 11 are Mississippi Scholars and Tech Masters. All these young men and women have met the criteria established by the Education Committee of the East MS Business Development Foundation. 

The following Seniors were named MS Scholars: Allen, Tayvion; Boler, Ti'Ryiah; Clark, Tre'shea; Davis, Sabrina; Dickerson, William; Edwards, Kimora; Faulkner, Raygan; Gale, Kenaysha; Gottberg, Maya; Graham, Timia; Hampton, Rhayla; Houston, Jaylon; Jasper, Kyia; Lewis, Samiya; McClendon, Amiyah; McCleon, Deriana; McNeely, Madison; Nave, Legend; Siaw, Jordan
