The MHS football team picked up its first win of the season with a 31-6 victory over the Hattiesburg Tigers on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Ray Stadium.

MHS Seniors from the NJROTC and MHS Choir were honored on the field before the game. Young fans could also visit the Wildcat Wagon to get a free book. Meridian Community College was on hand as well as game attendees about all of the educational opportunities the college has to offer.

The Wildcats are back in action on Thursday, September 22, 2022, when they travel to face Northwest Rankin.
