Three Senior football players selected to play in All-Star Games

Three members of the MHS Football team have been chosen to participate in our state’s postseason All-Star Games.

“It is a real joy to see some of your players recognized for their hard work on the field of play,” said John Douglass, MHS Head Football Coach.

Meridian High School Football is proud to announce that three of its senior football players have been chosen to participate in our state's postseason All-Star Games.

Senior QuinDarrius Jones will participate in the MS/AL All-Star Game in Mobile, AL on Saturday, December 10, 2022.

“Anyone that has attended a Wildcat football game over the past four seasons has seen what an impactful player QuinDarrius is,” said Douglass.  “He has made big-time plays on both sides of the ball since his freshman year, and has continued that trend this season.”

Fellow Wildcat seniors Tylan Cole and Roscoe Tucker will participate in the Bernard Blackwell North/South Game. The annual contest will occur in Gulfport, MS on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

“Both of these young men are anchors on the line of scrimmage for the Wildcat offense and defense.,” said Douglass. “They have proven to be tremendous leaders for our program and will represent Meridian Football with class.”
