The Meridian High School Boy’s Powerlifting Team took home second place in the South State Competition held in Gulfport, MS on Friday, March 3, 2023.

Nine lifters entered the competition with four lifters advancing to State Competition.

Congratulations to all the lifters for working hard throughout this season.

Those student-athletes advancing to the State Competition are:

Emmanuel Wilson -1st Place; Elijah Brown -1st Place; Daniel Hill-2nd Place; and Patrick Heidelberg -2nd Place.

State Competition takes place on April 1, 2023, in Jackson, MS.
